An international Shopify launch involves more than a theme. Review product information, market setup, localization and the order journey before directing campaign traffic to the store.
Answer purchase questions on the product page
Product pages must compensate for the inability to inspect an item in person. Explain dimensions, materials, use, included items and limitations. Check sizing units for apparel, installation conditions for homeware and compatibility for accessories. Use accurate imagery and distinguish renders where appropriate. Keep variant, price and availability information consistent throughout the shopping journey.
Review each target market
Localization extends beyond a language switch. Review product copy, navigation, policies, notifications and checkout for untranslated content. Confirm the market, currency and payment options actually available in your store setup. Do not assume every combination is supported. Complete the end-to-end buying journey for one priority market before expanding into additional markets.
Make fulfillment expectations clear
Explain delivery availability, how charges are calculated, expected timing and what happens when something goes wrong. Reflect your real fulfillment arrangements and make exceptions visible. If shipping is calculated at checkout, say so earlier. Returns information should match your products, operational capability and applicable requirements rather than copy another store's policies.
Test the journey on a phone
Use the store's supported testing process to check variants, cart, address entry, payment outcomes and notifications on a phone. Review discounts, out-of-stock states and failed-payment messages, then check for duplicated analytics events. Feed recurring support questions back into product pages. Improve the journey by removing uncertainty, not merely adding promotional widgets.
